The Granata shared the spoils in an entertaining contest with the Blucerchiati, with the match at the Stadio Olimpico ending in a 2-2 draw.

“It was a good and entertaining game. Both teams played to win,” Mihajlovic said of this afternoon’s Serie A clash.

All four goals were scored in the first half of the match, and the Toro tactician was disappointed his team could not find a winner despite creating numerous opportunities after the restart.

“In the second half, we had three or four goalscoring chances that we didn’t manage to take.

“The only reason we didn’t win was because of our own errors, sometimes we give too much away.

“Samp play well, they have players that can give anyone problems. But we could have done better with the second half chances.”

Today’s draw means Toro remain unbeaten so far this season, with their Serbian Coach targeting Europa League qualification.

“I came to Torinoto take the team into Europe.”
