Dries Mertens insists Napoli are taking their Scudetto challenge “one game at a time”.
The Partenopei are still just one point off the top of Serie A following last night’s 2-1 win over Torino, but the winger isn’t getting carried away.
“We wanted to start again well at home with three points,” Mertens told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Torino play good football, and it’s always difficult against them, plus it’s not easy after the winter break.

“We just have to think about ourselves and see where we end up. We have to continue what we’re doing.
“We’ll see at the end, but we’re taking it one game at a time. We have to win at Frosinone and then we’ll see.
“We’re prepared and all the players are ready. We won at home, but we have to do it in Frosinone.”
The Belgian international was also asked about the atmosphere at San Paolo, and believes it can push the Partenopei forward.
“We have to carry it with us at all times. It’s not just when you play well, the fans are important because they can help you if you’re struggling.”
