Inter midfielder Gary Medel says Milan are ‘very strong’ but insists that the Nerazzurri do not fear them.

“Milan are very strong, and have had an irregular season, like ours,” Medel said in a pre-match Press conference.

“They deserve respect, but we don’t fear any individuals in particular. I think this is a very interesting derby because it’s the Milan derby.
“I don’t think we should throw everything into the attack, but take intelligent risks to maximise our attributes while being aware of Milan’s strengths.
“We hope to bring joy to the fans and to ourselves, given the difficulties we’ve experienced this season.
“I hope there will be a good atmosphere, the fans can have fun and we’ll try to get three points.
“I played in the derby at Boca [Juniors in Argentina, against River Plate], one of the most passionate atmospheres in the world, so I know what it’s like.”
