Scotland and Napoli midfielders Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour returned to Naples on a private jet on Sunday night straight after a 2-1 loss to Portugal in the Nations League.

McTominay and Gilmour are ready to resume training under Napoli coach Antonio Conte after the international break.

An Instagram story from Molecule.designs on Sunday night showed the Scottish pair about to get on a private jet in Lisbon and head to Naples, where they are expected to resume training with their club on Tuesday.

Napoli visit Cagliari on Sunday, September 15 in the first Serie A match after the September break.

McTominay scored a goal for Scotland against Portugal last night, but the home side claimed a 2-1 win with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo.
