Brian McDermott is at Leeds United to take training today, despite confusion over his future at the club amid Massimo Cellino’s proposed takeover.
It was believed on Friday that, with Cagliari owner Cellino closing in on a purchase of 75 per cent share of the Championship side, that McDermott had been sacked as manager.

It was believed on Friday that, with Cagliari owner Cellino closing in on a purchase of 75 per cent share of the Championship side, that McDermott had been sacked as manager.
Whilst missing the weekend win over Huddersfield, the 52-year-old was then listed in a club statement as still in his role, whilst Cellino later commented that he also wants the former Reading boss to remain.
On from this, McDermott has reported in for training with the team this Monday and will this afternoon also face the media.
