Olympique Marseille are increasingly the pressure for Napoli winger Adam Ounas, claim reports in France and Italy.
Their interest in the Algeria international has been going on since last month, but as the transfer deadline approaches, they are stepping up that pursuit.
According to French transfer pundit Saber Desfarges, Marseille are getting closer to an agreement and feeling increasingly optimistic.
The 24-year-old plays on the right side of an attacking trio, but can also work on the left or in a more central support striker role.
Napoli paid €12m to sign Ounas from Girondins de Bordeaux in 2017, but he had loans at OGC Nice, Cagliari and Crotone.
His contract with the Partenopei only runs to the end of the season, so they need to sell or sign him to a new deal.
Ounas was born and raised in France, but plays his international football for Algeria, with four goals in 14 caps.
