“To be ready I may need a few days, but already I could be available for Parma, should the Coach decide.

“I do not think that I will have trouble adjusting here in Rome. I arrive at 25 years of age, with a wealth of experience.

“Will these 15 games convince Roma to sign me outright? Games will not be the only deciding factor, but overall how I am seen by the Coach and the directors.”

One of those, sporting director Walter Sabatini, was at his unveiling and took time to also talk of the move.

“We kept him a secret and although he has been received to great fanfare, we are very confident about the fact that he can give us a hand.

“He is a strong player, a versatile midfielder with features that we don’t otherwise have in the squad.”
