Marino: ‘Napoli want Rugani’

Former Napoli sporting director Pierpaolo Marino says the club ‘are interested in Juventus’ Daniele Rugani.’

The defender has been linked with a move to the Partenopei and a reunion with former Empoli Coach Maurizio Sarri, after struggling for game time in Turin.

Marino, who was part of the Neapolitans’ hierarchy between 2004 and 2009, believes that an ‘important offer’ has been made by the Azzurri.

Marino, who was part of the Neapolitans’ hierarchy between 2004 and 2009, believes that an ‘important offer’ has been made by the Azzurri.

"From what I’ve learned by talking to experts, Napoli are interested in Rugani,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“Napoli made an important financial offer for both the team and the player. €20m? I won’t put my name on it.

“There are still two months, I don’t think that even now we can talk about offers that significant.”
