La Dea are currently 11th in Serie A having won seven of their first 18 games, and the 58-year-old has claimed that the he is pleased with the start to the season the team have made.

“With 22 points at the moment, we are on course for our best points total ever in Serie A,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“There is nothing I have to say to the team or the Coach. We recently returned from Serie B and we want to grow gradually.”

He then commented on reports that defender Federico Peluso could be on his way to Juventus” data-scaytid=”12″>Juventus.

“We still have to sit down with Juve and discuss the situation calmly,” he said. “The Bianconeri are interested, but only in the summer.”
