Rolando Maran believes Chievo “have our heads held high” after a 2-2 Derby della Scala draw with Hellas Verona.
The Flying Donkeys had taken the lead through Alberto Paloschi, then went 2-1 down until a Sergio Pellissier penalty.
“We wanted to win and we tried, especially in the second half, but Verona defended well,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We keep Verona behind us in the table and continue our campaign looking forward. We deserve to be where we are and in fact could’ve had more points.
“My future? I am happy here and consider Chievo to be an important club. We have precise characteristics, unity is our strength and we’re proud of that.”
