Mangala offered to Milan

Milan have been offered Eliaquim Mangala, as Pep Guardiola doesn’t see him fitting in at Manchester City.

According to Tuttosport, the defender’s agent Jorge Mendes has been in negotiations with Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani.

As Milan are currently in the process of a takeover by Chinese investors, they are short on transfer funds and working primarily on loan deals.

Mangala was left out of Manchester City’s Champions League squad and has not impressed new Coach Guardiola.

This means he is available on loan with an option to buy, especially as agent Mendes has a strong rapport with Milan already.

The only problem is represented by Mangala’s wages of €4m per year.

Still only 25, Manchester City paid over €30m (£26m) to sign Mangala from FC Porto two years ago, but he has been prone to costly errors.
