Mancini: ‘No Brozovic sale’

Inter won’t sell Marcelo Brozovic ‘even if faced with a great offer’ says Roberto Mancini, who also calls for Rodrigo Palacio and Yuto Nagatomo renewals.

The Nerazzurri boss also lamented the limitations put on the club in the transfer market due to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.

Brozovic has impressed so far this season to the extent that the former Manchester City manager thinks he could be ‘one of the best ever.’

“In order to improve this team we need money, but with Financial Fair Play we can’t move,” said Mancini at today’s Press conference.

“It seems difficult to spend a lot of money on big players.

“Brozovic is integrating really well. I think if he were to continue like this he would become one of the best ever.

“We don’t want to sell him, even in the face of a great offer. He must work, but he has incredible quality.

"No one has asked to be sold. For the moment, everything remains as it is.

“Palacio and Nagatomo are extraordinary professionals, so if their renewals were up to me I would say yes."

Mancio also offered a comment on former Napoli Coach Rafa Benitez, who was sacked by Real Madrid yesterday to be replaced by Zinedine Zidane.

"Benitez? I’m always sorry when a colleague is sacked. Zinedine, however, can become a great Coach.”
