Roberto Mancini believes Inter have already secured Ever Banega – “he’ll help us”.
It has been reported that the Sevilla midfielder has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Nerazzurri, but the situation is complicated as his current club claim an automatic extension has been triggered.
“Have Inter signed Banega?” Mancini considered in an interview with Gr Parlamento.
“It seems that way. He has quality and character, he’ll help us.”

Mancini was then asked whether his side are lacking a forward like Gonzalo Higuain of Napoli or Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.
“Juventus are also missing someone like Higuain. Getting 36 goals makes you an extraordinary player. With him, Napoli start every game 1-0 up.
“Could Zlatan Ibrahimovic return to Inter? I don’t think so. I think he’s already decided his future, but it’s not Inter. It’s a shame, because he’s someone who can change a game.
“It’s important to understand what our targets are, and it’ll take time. We can’t spend much, so we have to be careful not to make mistakes.
“I had a good relationship with [President Erick] Thohir before, and I still do now.”
