It is no secret that the Croatia international is wanted by Jose Mourinho and it’s rumoured negotiations started back in March, but the Nerazzurri have remained steadfast in their €55m asking price.

When the 28-year-old scored in Inter’s 2-1 International Champions Cup win over Chelsea on Saturday in Singapore, it further fuelled Manchester United desires for the player.

According to the Daily Star, Mourinho was furious with club owners and demanded they shell out the necessary cash for Perisic.

Inter arrived back in Milan’s Malpensa Airport this morning and were greeted by both fans and media.

Perisic was repeatedly asked to commit his future to Inter or even comment on the situation, but he walked away without saying a word.
