According to Il Corriere della Sera, Paolo Maldini has personally called Mario Mandzukic who confirmed he is looking forward to joining Milan.
The Rossoneri are in talks to sign the former Juventus striker and according to Il Corriere della Sera, the Diavoli’s technical director Paolo Maldini has already had a couple of telephone conversations with the former Juventus forward.
Milan are reportedly ready to offer a €1.8m-a-year deal to sign the 34-year-old who can move to the San Siro as a free agent.

Mandzukic has reportedly told Maldini he would be happy to join the Rossoneri.
Milan, however, still need to make a final decision regarding the possible signing of the ex-Bayern Munich striker who played his last competitive game in March 2020.
Mandzukic terminated his Juventus contract in December 2019 after 44 goals in 162 games in all competitions with the Bianconeri.
