Napoli's goalscoring hero Christian Maggio has hailed the character his side showed in beating Palermo at the San Paolo last night.
The Italy international full-back scored the only goal of the game in the 95th minute to ensure Napoli got all three points against a key rival.
"We have shown spirit," Maggio said. "We played with heart right until the end. We didn't deserve to draw. The victory was deserved."

Asked about his late goal, he replied: "We are used to this mentality, to always believing in ourselves, to never giving up.
"I care about playing for Italy, but it depends on how I play for Napoli. If there is the opportunity, I will not let it get away.
"I started the season badly but I am back in form again and I don't want to stop now."
