Olympique Lyonnais President Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that Maxime Gonalons won’t leave for Napoli this month.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a switch to Stadio San Paolo over the past two transfer windows.
But the French club’s chief has admitted that they have rejected an offer from the Partenopei.
“For Maxime, the answer is no,” he told RMC Sport. “The player will remain in Lyon until the end of the season.
“100 per cent he will stay here until then.
“I’ve already informed Aurelio De Laurentiis because he’s a person that I respect.
“Napoli has proposed €15m plus €2m in bonuses.”
