There were reports over the last two days on RMC Sport in France that Olympique Lyonnais were preparing a swoop for Godin, just one year after his free transfer from Atletico Madrid.
When asked about Godin and Mamadou Sakho by Europe 1, President Aulas did not disguise their interest.

When asked about Godin and Mamadou Sakho by Europe 1, President Aulas did not disguise their interest.
“These are among the names mentioned, there were also many others,” was his response.
The 33-year-old centre-back has struggled for playing time at Inter, losing his place in the starting XI to Alessandro Bastoni.
His €5m per year contract plus bonuses is also a weight on the Nerazzurri coffers, so they’d be in favour of a sale.
The only issue is that Godin would have to accept a pay cut to complete the move, as Lyon cannot afford this salary.
