The Belgian sensation, who will turn 18 tomorrow, has been associated with the expected American revolution in Rome once Thomas Di Benedetto completes his takeover.
However, speaking with calciomercatoweb.it, the player's representative has denied any knowledge of the alleged Giallorossi interest.
"They are just rumours," Christophe Henrotay stated. "I know nothing about Roma and I can't confirm that they have been monitoring my client.
"I can state, however, that the English clubs are in pole position for him, but there is no deal in place with any club in particular."
Lukaku, a powerful striker, has been heavily linked with both Chelsea and Manchester City in recent times.
