Luka Romero on ‘Dybala-like’ goal and Milan future

Luka Romero reacted to the comparisons with Paulo Dybala and commented his goals for his future with Milan.

The 18-year-old Argentinian talent excited Rossoneri fans with his 42nd minute goal in the 3-2 pre-season friendly loss to Real Madrid, a goal that looked similar to ones scored by Roma star Dybala.

Romero joined Milan on a free transfer this month after leaving Lazio, penning a four-year contract. He’ll be hoping to convince Stefano Pioli to keep him in the first team for next season.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Romero first touched on his goals with Milan following his move.

“I want to stay here for the season because I can learn a lot.”

He was also asked about his ‘Dybala-like’ goal, but he looked to hush any comparisons, commenting: “I shot like I know how…”

The 18-year-old Romero is considered to be one of the most exciting youngsters in Serie A and will be hoping to break into the Milan first team this season, having received a few chances under Maurizio Sarri at Lazio last season.

The Argentinian talent impressed coach Lionel Scaloni when he trained with the Albiceleste first team and could make his debut for the senior national team in the coming months.
