Low attendance expected for Italy Nations League game vs Israel

According to TMW, only 2000 fans, including 400 Italians, are expected to attend tonight’s Nations League fixture between Italy and Israel in Budapest.

Italy visit Israel in the second Nations League group-stage game this evening, but only 2,000 fans are expected in the stands.

The game will be played at the József Bozsik in Budapest, Israel’s home ground for international matches since October 2023.

According to TMW, only 2,000 fans will be in the stands tonight, including 400 Italians.

Italy beat France in their 2024-25 Nations League debut on Friday, thanks to goals from Federico Dimarco, Davide Frattesi, and Giacomo Raspadori.

Luciano Spalletti is expected to rotate in attack and defence, starting Fiorentina striker Moise Kean in attack and Alessandro Buongiorno in a three-man backline. At the same time, the CT should confirm Samuele Ricci, Sandro Tonali and Frattesi in central midfield and Gigio Donnarumma in goal.

Italy will play two home games during the October break against Belgium and Israel, respectively.
