“Will I watch Roma-Bayern Munich?” Lotito pondered to Radio24.
“I’m a lover of football, and I watch all the games. Watching your opponents is always useful.
“Who will I be supporting? You should always cheer for the Italian teams. The problem we have is the [UEFA coefficient] ranking.”
After defeating Fiorentina at the weekend, Lazio lie three points from a Champions League spot, and Lotito believes the Aquile can confound expectations this season.
“The Press say we aren’t a candidate for third place?
“We don’t look at media predictions. We leave it to other to spread the news or expectations.
“We want to measure ourselves on what we do. On facts.”
