Livorno are attempting to add Olympiacos’ Leandro Greco and Inter youngster Samuele Longo to their squad by the end of this week.
“Tuesday will be the day of Greco and, I hope, that of Longo too,” Amaranto sporting director Stefano Capozucca noted.
Greco is a 27-year-old midfielder who moved to Greece just a year ago after being sold by hometown outfit Roma.
The former Astrea, Verona, Pisa and Piacenza player has already passed his medical with the newly promoted club.
Meanwhile, Longo is available for transfer after returning to Inter in the summer after a loan spell at Espanyol.
The 21-year-old striker, an Azzurrini international, is also being chased by Verona who will be playing in the top flight this term too.
