Torino coach Moreno Longo was ‘satisfied with the performance, but not the result’ after a 1-1 draw with Parma.
The Granata debuted a new four-man defence and there were certainly improvements, although Luigi Sepe’s penalty save prevented Andrea Belotti winning it.
“The players gave all they had, we are satisfied with the performance, but not the result,” Longo told Sky Sport Italia.

“We deserved to win and had three huge chances, as well as the penalty. This sends an important signal, it means we are alive and have restarted with the right attitude. Let’s think positive for the next match, we tested different formations, so can adapt to the situation.
“I am glad at the way the team reacted, the players sacrificed themselves for each other and realised our objective must be securing safety from relegation.
“We must fight every second of every single game.”
