Newly promoted Livorno have confirmed they are attempting to sign Leandro Greco from Greek outfit Olympiacos.

The 27-year-old only joined his present club a year ago, from hometown outfit Roma, when he accepted a three-year contract.
The midfielder has also appeared for Astrea, Verona, Pisa and Piacenza in Italian football.
