Lega Calcio President Maurizio Beretta has revealed that he wants to come to a positive solution regarding Cagliari's Is Arenas.

The Rossoblu's new stadium has been a subject of continuing controversy this season, seeing the club's game against Juventus moved to Parma earlier on in the campaign, and the Isolani chief Massimo Cellino arrested.

But the head of the Football League wants to see the Isolani remain at their own ground.

“We would like to arrive at a situation where we can come to a positive solution,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Of course, absolute respect has to be paid to the rules – they can never be overlooked.

“Our hope is that this can all end positively.”
