His current deal is due to expire in June 2022, earning €1.2m per season, but he can almost double that to €2m until June 2025, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 25-year-old joined the Lazio youth academy in 2012 and was brought into the first team by coach Simone Inzaghi, who had already worked with him in the early days.
