The situation seems to have deteriorated further and a statement this morning confirms ‘some members of the matchday group’ tested positive for Coronavirus.

“Based on these results, the entire squad will repeat the tests today to identify the players who are available for tomorrow’s game between Torino and Lazio.

“Those who tested positive have been placed in isolation at home while the squad will observe a period of quarantine under the surveillance of the medical staff.”

The club has not specifically confirmed how many players or members of staff have tested positive.

Despite this situation, tomorrow’s game with Torino is still expected to go ahead.
