Benevento striker Gianluca Lapadula will receive his first call-up to play for Peru, facing Chile and Argentina next month.
The 30-year-old forward was born in Turin to an Italian father and Peruvian mother.
As he has only international football for Italy in a friendly, he is available to represent Peru.
His lone Italy cap was in a May 2017 friendly against San Marino, which saw him score a hat-trick.
Peru coach Ricardo Garcia confirmed to Expreso that Lapadula will be in the squad to face Chile on November 13 and Argentina on November 17.
