Toulouse and France Under-19 goalkeeper Alban Lafont has arrived in Italy to complete his €8.5m transfer to Fiorentina.
Calciomercato.com reports Lafont arrived in Florence to undergo his medical on Monday morning, and the website caught up with the starlet before he checked into the Ponte Nuovo Clinic.
“I’m very happy to be here, Forza Viola!” he said.
The 19-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Viola and take their No 1 jersey after Marco Sportiello’s exit.
