Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has given his green light for a lucrative move to Paris Saint-Germain, but Napoli have no intention of losing the Georgian star this summer.

On Friday, reports emerged detailing the Parisian giants’ serious interest in snapping up the 23-year-old in the coming months, believing him the perfect player to bolster their frontline following the departure of Kylian Mbappe. An offer of around €100m has allegedly been drawn up.

Kvaratskhelia shined in his debut season with Napoli and continued to impress in his second campaign, picking up 11 goals and eight assists across 34 league games. Despite his shining work, he’s still one of the lowest paid players in the squad, earning just €1m net per season.

Kvaratskhelia future

Pages five and six of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport detail how Kvaratskhelia has signed off on a move to PSG this summer, but Napoli are not planning to let him leave, not wanting to lose both the Georgian and Victor Osimhen ahead of next season.

Imminent coach Antonio Conte asked about the 23-year-old’s situation before accepting the job, wanting him to be a central figure in his new project in the Campania capital.

Kvaratskhelia’s agents met with Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna on Friday and work will start regarding a new long-term deal at the club, where the forward could try to push to include a release clause.
