According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent has demanded €8m per season to extend at the Stadio Maradona, but the Partenopei won’t offer more than €6m plus add-ons.

Napoli and their star winger Kvaratskhelia continue negotiations over a contract extension, but the two parties still seem pretty far from reaching an agreement.

According to the latest report from Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, the player’s entourage has demanded €8m net until June 2029, but Napoli won’t offer more than €6m plus bonuses.

This, in fact, is how much Romelu Lukaku earns at the Stadio Maradona, and the Belgian is currently the highest earner at the club.

Talks between the two parties will continue in the coming weeks. Kvara’s contract expires in June 2027 and he earns circa €1.5m per season.

The Georgian ace wasn’t offered a new deal after Napoli won their first Serie A title in 33 years in 2023.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis said on Saturday that the Georgian winger would remain at the Stadio Maradona for as long as the club want.

Antonio Conte pushed to keep Kvara in Naples last summer, and the 23-year-old has three goals and two assists in nine appearances across all competitions this term.
