“I feel the responsibility of playing for a club with such great tradition as Parma. The position in the Serie A table is already impressive, but I am convinced we can improve our status even more.
“I have already spoken to (Coach Roberto D’Aversa) and he explained what he wants from me. We are fully in sync.
“I had a good start in Turkey, but then after an injury I couldn’t get off the bench. I asked for an explanation, but never received one, so in a situation like that it becomes difficult to find the right motivation to give your best.
“As soon as I was told Parma might be interested, I pushed to close the deal. I wanted to come back to Italy, as I was here for over six years and it is my second home.”
