Klose out for three matches

Lazio have confirmed that striker Miroslav Klose will be out for at least three games with a thigh injury.

The veteran forward went off injured in the Champions League play-off win over Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night, with fears he had torn a muscle.

The Biancocelesti have now confirmed those fears, meaning Klose will miss the return leg, as well as League games against Bologna and Chievo.

“The outcome of the tests on Klose was what we expected,” team doctor Stefano Salvatori revealed, speaking to Lazio Style Radio.

“After the international break we will conduct more tests to more accurately estimate his recovery time.”
