Miroslav Klose is a late doubt for Lazio’s midweek clash with Milan, adding to Edy Reja’s selection headache in attack.
After the sales of Djibril Cisse and Giuseppe Sculli, the failure to secure a replacement in the transfer market on Tuesday and the injuries to Libor Kozak and Emiliano Alfaro, Reja’s attacking options were already limited.
Klose is understood to be struggling to recover from an impact injury sustained at the weekend away to Chievo. Whilst just taking a knee to his thigh, it is thought likely to rule the 33-year-old out of Week 21’s home match with Milan.
If Klose does miss the game, Reja is left with just one fit striker to face the defending champions, in Tommaso Rocchi.
