Sami Khedira was stretchered off with a suspected hamstring strain and is likely to miss the Italian Super Cup with Lazio.
The former Real Madrid midfielder suddenly pulled up clutching the back of his right thigh just 25 minutes into a friendly against Olympique Marseille.
He was clearly in agony and was carefully carried away by the medical staff.
There was no contact with other players, so everything points towards a hamstring or thigh strain.
If a lesion is confirmed, the German will be out for between a month and six weeks.

Now tests will be required to ascertain the extent of the damage, but it’s very unlikely he’ll be passed fit to play in the Italian Super Cup against Lazio next Saturday in Shanghai.
Khedira had already been ruled out of a friendly against Borussia Dortmund this summer when he picked up an injury in the warm-up.
This is particularly bad news for Juve, who are already without Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli for three weeks.
