“I’ve always wanted to play in the USA,” he told reporters before flying back to Brazil to resume his holiday.
“The first contact dates back to 2012, when [President] Flavio Augusto told me I could have the option to buy a franchise [like David Beckham].
“Now the dream is a reality. The MLS is growing so much,
“I want to show American fans that football can be beautiful.
“Two years ago I had the opportunity to go to New York, but I’m delighted I chose Orlando. My family is also happy with this choice.”
