But the 30-year-old has claimed that he does not want to be a burden on Los Blancos, and would depart if they felt it necessary.
“I have two more years on my contract,” he told AS. “But I do not want to be a burden.
“If I have to go away for the good of the club – I will.
“I want to play more for Real Madrid, but I understand the situation. There are other strong players here.”
