Tottenham Hotspur refused to take up the option to buy Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus, but are reportedly on the verge of a deal set at €30m.
The 23-year-old had made the move on loan in January 2022 for €10m with an option to buy after 18 months for €35m plus a further €9m in various performance-related bonuses.
With Antonio Conte gone, Spurs tried to negotiate a discount on that deal, but still wanted to keep the Sweden international on a permanent basis.
According to Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia, the negotiations are on the verge of completion and the two clubs agreed to set a new price of €30m.
This, in addition to the original €10m for the loan, means Juve still made a profit on the player they bought from Atalanta for €35m in January 2020.
Kulusevski had a strong initial impact on the Premier League, but struggled more in the second season with two goals and eight assists in 37 games.
