With problems for Gonzalo Higuain and Carlos Tevez, Juventus are turning to Sampdoria starlet Simone Zaza.

The Bianconeri made it clear they need a new centre-forward, but Real Madrid want over €30m for Higuain and Manchester City star Tevez seems closer to Milan.

With Fiorentina refusing to release Stevan Jovetic for less than €30m cash, director general Beppe Marotta is turning his focus elsewhere.

Sky Sport Italia claim the new prime target is Zaza, who shone in Serie B with Ascoli this season, scoring 18 goals in 35 games.

The 21-year-old’s Sampdoria contract expires in June 2014 and he has refused a renewal, so a summer sale is almost guaranteed.

Also linked with Roma, Inter and Lazio, it’s reported Juve hope to have the upper hand for Zaza by offering Under-21 international Manolo Gabbiadini as part of the deal.

Paolo De Ceglie could also be included in the overall negotiations with Samp.
