Juventus have reportedly agreed to extend Alvaro Morata’s loan for another season at a cost of €10m with option to buy from Atletico Madrid for €35m.
The 28-year-old arrived last summer on loan for €10m with option to buy for €45m.
There was also a clause allowing the Bianconeri to extend the loan for a further €10m and move the option to €35m.
Sources tell Football Italia that this is the route Juve are taking, informing Atletico Madrid of their intentions.
He made a strong impression this term, scoring 20 goals in 44 appearances and providing 12 assists.
This is the Spain international’s second spell in Turin after a loan from Real Madrid in 2014-16.
The return of coach Max Allegri has transformed their transfer strategy and he now wants to rely on Morata and Paulo Dybala for next season.
