Juventus striker Kean set for Atletico Madrid medical

Multiple reports in Italy claim Juventus striker Moise Kean will undergo his medical examination with Atletico Madrid by Monday.

The Italy international is set to join the La Liga side on loan until the end of the season.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Kean will land in Spain tomorrow, Thursday, January 25, but Sky Sport Italia maintains the day of the striker’s medical examination is Monday 29.

Juventus have agreed to loan out Kean until June following convincing performances from 18-year-old starlet Kenan Yildiz. Kean is currently out of action with a fibula injury and hasn’t yet scored a goal in 12 Serie A appearances with Juventus this term.

Kean will replace Ángel Correa at Atletico Madrid. The Argentinean is set to leave the Spanish capital to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

Kean has scored 22 goals in 115 appearances with Juventus and his contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2025.

The Italy striker hopes to get regular playing time at Atletico to convince Luciano Spalletti to give him a chance for the Euros next summer.
