Juventus will scrap new yellow lettering on the back of their shirts after complaints they were illegible.

The new style was introduced for the 2014-15 season, but garnered numerous complaints from fans, media and reportedly also UEFA.

The rules dictate numbers should be visible from 50 metres away.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri will therefore go back to using black names and numbers on the white background.

The first game with this change will be the Serie A opener against Chievo next weekend.
