Maurizio Sarri has a full squad to choose from, missing only Alberto Grassi who is yet to make his debut for the club following a January transfer from Atalanta.
Dries Mertens will have to watch from the bench, as the Partenopei are expected to pick their first choice XI for the game of games.
There’s no such luxury for Max Allegri, who has to do without injured Giorgio Chiellini, Mario Mandzukic, Kwadwo Asamoah, Martin Caceres and Mario Lemina.
Sami Khedira is in the squad, but unlikely to be risked from the start so soon after a muscular injury, so Stefano Sturaro is tipped to take over in midfield.
Juan Guillermo Cuadrado could well feature wide right if it’s a 4-4-2 formation, as suggested by La Gazzetta dello Sport, with Stephan Lichtsteiner and Patrice Evra as full-backs.
Alvaro Morata is tipped to partner Paulo Dybala, although one mustn’t rule out Simone Zaza.
Tuttosport also expects a 4-4-2 from Allegri, but with Khedira in the starting XI.
There is also the option to use a 4-3-1-2 with Roberto Pereyra playing in the hole behind the two strikers.
Although suggested by Allegri in interviews, a three-man defence seems improbable without Chiellini or Caceres, as the Coach has little faith in Napoli transfer target Daniele Rugani.
Predicted line-ups
Juventus (4-4-2): Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Evra; Cuadrado, Sturaro (Khedira), Marchisio, Pogba; Morata, Dybala
Napoli (4-3-3): Reina; Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik; Callejon, Higuain, Insigne
