Anthony Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley noted his client’s interest in leaving Manchester United next month, with Juventus linked to him.
The 26-year-old Frenchman has only made two Premier League starts this season and is unhappy with the low amount of playing time he’s receiving in England, having only played 202 minutes in the league so far this campaign.
His agent Lamboley confirmed Martial’s desire to transfer away from the Red Devils in next month’s transfer window, telling Sky Sports UK “His desire is to leave the club in January. He just needs to play, I will talk to Manchester United soon.”
Juventus, who are looking for a new backup forward, are one of the clubs interested in signing the former Monaco man.
The Bianconeri may be able to secure Martial’s services on a loan deal, but they will be competing with both Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon for his signature.
The 26-year-old French forward understands that without regular playing time, he is unlikely to be called up for next year’s World Cup in Qatar. His departure also works well for Manchester United, who are looking to reduce their wage bill.
