Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport report Juventus are in advanced talks to sign Michele Di Gregorio from Monza.

Juventus’ negotiations to sign Italian goalkeeper Di Gregorio from Monza are at an advanced stage, Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport report.

The Turin-based paper claims Juventus are ready to offer the 26-year-old a €3m-a-year contract until 2029. The Bianconeri director Cristiano Giuntoli met Adriano Galliani in Milan on Wednesday night moving to the front row for the Italian keeper.

According to Tuttosport, Monza’s asking price is circa €20m, while Il Corriere dello Sport reports the transfer fee is slightly higher at €25m.

Tuttosport claims Juventus are willing to include a player in the deal to lower the price tag. The Serie A giants could involve a product of their academy or even Mattia Perin who has reportedly decided to leave Juventus to become a regular starter elsewhere in Serie A next season.

Juventus are planning to make Di Gregorio their second-choice keeper next season and give him a starting spot from 2025 after Wojciech Szczęsny’s exit.

Juventus may try to sell the Poland international anyway this summer as ‘Tek’ is reportedly unwilling to sign a new deal with a lower salary. According to Tuttosport, Giuntoli and Galliani also discussed Andrea Colpani during their latest meeting on Wednesday.
