Juventus can set a new all-time Serie A record by securing the Scudetto today with seven rounds to spare, while on target to beat Antonio Conte’s 102 points tally.
The Bianconeri beat Milan 2-1 last night, so if Napoli lose to Genoa this evening, they will mathematically be crowned Champions of Italy.
That is because Juve have a superior head-to-head record with Napoli this season, so could not be caught even if they lost all the remaining matches and Napoli won all of theirs.

It’ll be their eighth consecutive title, which in itself is also a new record not just in Italy, but in Europe’s top five leagues, as Olympique Lyonnais only managed seven Ligue 1 trophies on the trot.
There are several other potential firsts for Max Allegri and his men.
Never in the history of Serie A has the Scudetto been assigned with seven rounds to spare.
The record is currently five games early, set by Torino in 1947-48, Fiorentina in 1955-56 and Inter in 2006-07.
It means even if Napoli win, Juve could comfortably beat the record next week with six matches left to play.
The first three Scudetti in this run were achieved under Conte, while it’ll be Allegri’s fifth in a row.
If Juventus end the season with six victories and a draw, it’ll be enough to reach 103 points, surpassing Conte’s all-time Serie A record of 102 points set in 2013-14.
That team also won 33 out of 38 Serie A rounds, but the current Old Lady could still potentially reach 34 out of 38.
