Juventus were in contact with Atalanta once again on Saturday to push for a final agreement for the transfer of Teun Koopmeiners, whose move to Turin is now ‘only a matter of time’ according to outlets in Italy.
Juventus still waiting for final Koopmeiners agreement
The Dutchman has been linked with a move to the Allianz Stadium since before the transfer window even opened, but the two clubs have still not shook hands over a definitive agreement just yet.
Atalanta’s stance has always been clear: They have requested a fee of €60m for their star playmaker. Juventus, for most of the summer, have been attempting to negotiate a slight discount on that price.
According to reports from Sky on Sunday afternoon, Juventus called to check in with Atalanta.
Juve’s latest offer still stands at a guaranteed price of €52m, plus additional bonuses.
It has been a busy end to the transfer window for Thiago Motta and his staff, who are also preparing to welcome Nico Gonzalez, who had his medical with the club on Sunday morning.
Francisco Conceicao is also expected to arrive later in the day and have his medical on Monday ahead of a loan move from Porto. Meanwhile, Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho still remains an option, but only if the Bianconeri are able to get him on loan as well.
