Juventus could still be in with a chance to sign Ajax centre-back Matthijs De Ligt, as a move to Barcelona hasn’t been finalised yet.
The 19-year-old defender has been linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs lately and a move to Barca was rumoured to have already been agreed.
The Catalan club’s Vice-President Jordi Mestre, however, played down the idea of any potential transfer when he told Sky Sport Espana yesterday that the player hadn’t signed yet.

Meanwhile, Italian newspaper Tuttosport claims that agent Mino Raiola’s request for a high wage has put off the Blaugrana, opening the door for the Bianconeri to return to the negotiation table.
Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are also interested in signing the teenager, but Juve could be in the driving seat thanks to their good working relationship with Raiola.
The paper also states that Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, Stefan Savic of Atletico Madrid, Ruben Dias of Benfica and Jerome Boateng of Bayern Munich are alternatives to De Ligt.
