Juventus will reportedly line up a move for Fiorentina’s Valon Behrami if the deal for Fredy Guarin cannot be concluded in January.

The Turin side are understood to be in the market for a midfielder to provide cover for the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio.

Whilst Porto’s Colombian enforcer Guarin is believed to be their first choice and the club are the player’s preferred destination, the Bianconeri are reportedly assessing alternative options in case the transfer falls through.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, one alternative plan comes in the form of Viola midfielder Behrami, who despite only moving to Florence 12 months ago, is thought available for a fee of around €7m. Behrami has previous Serie A experience with Genoa and Lazio too.
